Seems Good

It arrived in good condition after a few days. I'm using it as a naturally direct and reliable iodine supplement since I don't consume any other reliable sources, so I mix an excessive yet not dangerous 1/16 tsp into my water, just in case not all of it gets ultimately digested. I haven't noticed a taste from it, and I more importantly haven't gotten ill by lacking iodine, so the product seems accurate.

Lifesaver

A recent illness and reflux made me desperate for relief. Then I remembered my recent purchase of organic sugar Kelp powder. After two days mixing the powder in heated broth I had relief! The wicked sore throat was so much better. I am a firm believer in its value. Thank you Maine Coast Sea Vegetables.

Very Salty

I was surprised how salty powdered sugar kelp is. My experience with flakes and regular ground kelp from other brands is that they are far less salty.

Hello Megan,
We are sorry to hear your were not happy with our product. We just wanted to let you know that because our product is wild there will be variances in the flavor and appearance. Also you mentioned you had some from other brands that were less salty, kelp is an umbrella term and can include many different types of seaweed, each with their own flavor profile. Our sugar kelp powder has the latin name Saccharina latissima. Stay well!
