We’re looking for a reliable, organized Administrative Assistant who enjoys variety in their day. This role supports customer service, accounting tasks (AR/AP), and some HR responsibilities. It’s a great fit for someone who likes helping things run smoothly and being part of a small team.

Every great MCSV employee starts with learning the products, packages, and general flow of supply & sales by spending the first weeks (min) with our production team. Every employee here, at some point, is likely to jump into production from time to time, allowing things to keep moving. This baseline is key to success in every other job within the company!

What you’ll do:

  • Help customers with questions and orders
  • Support invoicing, payments, and basic accounting tasks
  • Assist with employee on-boarding and administrative HR needs
  • Keep things/information organized and moving across the building/company

About the Position

Maine Coast Sea Vegetables is seeking an organized, adaptable, people-oriented team member to support the daily administrative and operational functions of our employee-owned seaweed company.

This position will work closely with administration, production, customer service, and management teams. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, communication, organization, and helping keep a growing business running smoothly.

This is a hands-on support role with opportunities to learn accounting, HR, ERP systems, customer service, and operational coordination over time.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities may include:

  • Customer service and customer communication
  • Order support and coordination
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable support
  • Data entry and record keeping
  • Assisting with payroll and HR administrative tasks
  • Employee on-boarding paperwork and coordination
  • Scheduling and communication support across departments
  • Inventory and ERP system support (Acumatica)
  • Filing, organization, and maintaining accurate records for the organization
  • Assisting managers with projects and operational follow-up
  • Helping improve administrative systems and organization
