Description

Premium organic bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus) coarse ground in bulk. Our bladderwrack is sustainably wild-harvested from the pristine waters of the North Atlantic, lab-tested for quality and contaminants to ensure that you are getting the best product possible. Bladderwrack is a brown seaweed that can be used to make vegetable broth, added to soups and stews, or cooked with grains and vegetables to enhance nutrition and flavor. With its high protein, potassium, magnesium, iron, chlorophyll, trace elements, and dietary fiber content, bladderwrack is an excellent addition to any diet. But that's not all; Bladderwrack is also high in iodine, a crucial nutrient for thyroid function.

In addition to its nutritional benefits, bladderwrack contains fucoidan and alginic acid, polysaccharides that some studies show can prevent the growth of cancer cells, support immune function, and aid digestion. And for those looking to support healthy skin, bladderwrack can also be applied topically in creams and other skincare products, as well as in mineral baths, to support skin elasticity and overall health. Available in bulk packaging for non-resale* as well as sample portions for new sea vegetable lovers.

Sheep Love It!

Funny, I know, but my Icelandic sheep want nothing to do with Icelandic kelp. They LOVE the bladderwrack so I always keep this on hand for treats and if I need to move them.

Hi Kelli,
We love that they love it! We never knew we had fans among Icelandic sheep; thank you for letting us in on the sheep moving secret!
If they'll share with you, you should give this Bladderwrack Boule Bread recipe a try, https://seaveg.com/blogs/recipes/seaweed-asiago-boule.
Be well!
