Description
Do you compost? If you do, add minerals and nutrients by mixing in seaweed.
Seaweed contains minerals needed by both plants and humans, including calcium, phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, manganese, iron, zinc, selenium, sulfur, molybdenum, vanadium, and iodine. Soils can be deficient in one or more of these minerals and many of them aren’t included in regular fertilizers. Some are essential for plants, and all can potentially be taken up by plants to produce more nutritious crops.
